Countryside Agricultural Resource Center (ARC)

The ARC houses our Agricultural Science classes for our 9th through 12th graders, focusing on Ag Leadership, Botany, Biology, and our Agri-science CTE program. Our lower grade levels are also given opportunities to dig their hands into our mission of Food, Agriculture, Renewable Resources, and Environment (F.A.R.E.).

Our state-of-the-art barn houses pigs, sheep, chickens, and rabbits. Students are responsible for caring for the animals, utilizing farrowing crates to help with the birth of new piglets, and bring the animals they have raised to the fair.

Our greenhouse offers students opportunities to further investigate growing throughout all seasons. Our students have had an opportunity to partner with NASA and the Botanical Gardens to consider other methods of growing plants, even off planet. Our FFA and a variety of other groups also utilize our conference room for presentations and meetings.
