Adding Another Side to Countryside

Benton Harbor, MI  (October 11, 2022) - Countryside Academy is pleased to announce the groundbreaking of a new elementary building! The building will house nineteen Young Fives-Fifth grade classrooms which will be located at the Meadowbrook campus,  just west of the main building. The Millburg campus will become a Tri-County Head Start location. The Meadowbrook campus’ main building will become a sixth-twelfth grade building. This transition allows for all students and staff to be located on one campus and grade-level bands to be housed in one building.

The new building will house a new K-12th grade cafeteria where breakfast and lunch will be prepared and served to all students. Countryside Academy’s Board of Directors has tentative plans to add an air dome structure for physical education classes and athletic teams.  Pearson Construction will tentatively have the building completed for the start of the 2023-2024 school year. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Oct. 31, 2022, at 1:00

Countryside Academy has been in operation for 26 years while utilizing the F.A.R.E (Food, Agriculture, Renewable Resource, and Environment) theme. The campus is located four miles from the I-94/Pipestone Corridor on an over 110-acre site. Building renderings can be found below.
