Our High School Botany class and some of our 5th Grade students are currently beginning work on a Space Agriculture project.
Countryside Academy is one of the nation's school to be selected by NASA and their partner Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden to begin work to actively test edible plant cultivars in order to assist scientists at NASA. The data collected in this project will help determine which plants will be considered for growth in future space missions.
