Michiana Two-Cylinder Club Scholarship Application

Each year beginning in 2002, the Michiana Two-Cylinder Club awards an annual Scholarship of $1,000 to a High School Senior living within the greater Michiana area.
Successful applicants must be pursuing an education in an agricultural related field, meet the criteria and follow all instructions in this application form. The scholarship will be awarded the month of August during the club meeting held at the Berrien County Youth
Fair, The scholarship winner MUST be present.
The Michiana Two-Cylinder Club was
established in 1989 for the purpose of collecting, restoring and enjoying vintage
John Deere tractors and implements.
If a previous scholarship winner plans to re-apply, they should contact the Club and request
a Special Re-Application Form. It will be sent via USPS and is due same date as above.
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE
Please DO NOT put completed application in any type of binder; simply paperclip
pages in upper left-hand corner.
Application Instructions Be sure to enclose the following with your application: 1. High School Transcripts 2. A copy of your college acceptance letter(s). 3. Three letters of recommendations:
→ One from a teacher, former teacher or school official → One from a community resident other than a relative → One from a personal reference other than a relative A one-page personal essay, typed or printed neatly with dark ink, stating your career goals and how a scholarship from the Michiana Two-Cylinder
Club would help you accomplish these goals. 5. A professional photo (head and shoulders...such as a senior portrait).
