Seniors: February 15

I will spend time with you during English Friday February 15 to help you apply to a scholarship you want to apply to.
In preparation, find a scholarship you are eligible for before Friday. If you don't know where to find one, check out my page here, the Counseling Department page, the bulletin board that Ashonti just updated and previous emails from me. Those of you who know which college you are going to, check out scholarships they offer.

Michiana Two-Cylinder Club Scholarship Application

Deadline: March 31

Applications are in the Counseling office


Each year beginning in 2002, the Michiana Two-Cylinder Club awards an annual Scholarship of $1,000 to a High School Senior living within the greater Michiana area.

Successful applicants must be pursuing an education in an agricultural related field, meet the criteria and follow all instructions in this application form. The scholarship will be awarded the month of August during the club meeting held at the Berrien County Youth

Fair, The scholarship winner MUST be present.

The Michiana Two-Cylinder Club was

established in 1989 for the purpose of collecting, restoring and enjoying vintage

John Deere tractors and implements.

If a previous scholarship winner plans to re-apply, they should contact the Club and request

a Special Re-Application Form. It will be sent via USPS and is due same date as above.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE

POSTMARKED BY

MARCH 31.

Please DO NOT put completed application in any type of binder; simply paperclip

pages in upper left-hand corner.

Application Instructions Be sure to enclose the following with your application: 1. High School Transcripts 2. A copy of your college acceptance letter(s). 3. Three letters of recommendations:

→ One from a teacher, former teacher or school official → One from a community resident other than a relative → One from a personal reference other than a relative A one-page personal essay, typed or printed neatly with dark ink, stating your career goals and how a scholarship from the Michiana Two-Cylinder

Club would help you accomplish these goals. 5. A professional photo (head and shoulders...such as a senior portrait).

FAFSA Night: October 30

Hello Seniors and Parents/Guardians,  
 
As we discussed a few weeks back, October 30th from 6 pm - 7:30 pm will be the FAFSA Workshop held at Countryside Academy High School. We would like as many as possible to attend.  Please invite your parents/guardians to this event.
